Kyrox (“we”, “us”) operates the Kyrox mobile app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Profile & birth data you enter: name, birth date, birth time, birth place, and coordinates used for astrology.
App content: tarot intentions, spread choices, journal entries, language preference, and reminder settings.
Subscription status: managed via Apple App Store and RevenueCat (we do not receive your full payment card details).
Device & usage: app version, language, and technical logs needed to run the service.
Advertising (free tier): with your permission on iOS (App Tracking Transparency), advertising identifiers may be used for ad delivery and measurement via Google AdMob.
Notifications: if you enable daily reminders, we store your reminder time on your device and may use push notification tokens provided by Apple.

2. How we use information

Generate personalized daily fortunes and tarot interpretations.
Calculate zodiac signs and display your profile.
Provide subscriptions, restore purchases, and show ads on the free plan.
Send optional local/push reminders you configure.
Improve reliability and fix errors.

3. Where data is stored

Most profile and journal data is stored on your device (local storage). When you request AI readings, relevant fields are sent to our backend API, which calls Google Gemini to generate content. We use the data only to fulfill that request unless otherwise stated here.

4. Third-party services

RevenueCat — subscription and receipt validation
Google AdMob — rewarded ads (free users)
Apple — App Store purchases, push notifications, tracking permission (iOS)
Photon (komoot.io) — place search when you look up birth locations
Railway — hosts our API infrastructure

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their terms.

5. Location

If you grant location access, we use it to help determine coordinates for your birth place. You can also enter a place manually via search.

6. Retention & deletion

Data on your device remains until you delete the app or clear app data. To request help deleting information associated with support requests, contact us at support@kyrox.app.

7. Children

Kyrox is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Entertainment disclaimer

Fortunes and tarot readings are for entertainment and reflection only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
